Hello Memi

You're member of the Kunstverein Glarus. We lost your adress (formerly Rotbuchstrasse 73, Zürich). We'd like to send you our programmes. Which is your new address?
Best

Thx for the list, Memi. Especially there are some coffees I don't know ;)
I don't agree with your 10% tipping though. Afaik tipping is included in CH, but its common to just round a bit up.

There's a popular quote: "The best camera is the one you have with you."

Yeah, I also agree on the power of limitation. A real pro can work with extremely limited resources and improvise.

However, I'm not sure if art in general needs limitations as art is -per definition- not restricted.

I think any project, creative or technical is executed within the confines of what you have to work with. You can always do more with more, and you become mature in art or science when you see the possibilities given what you have to work with.

For some projects, camera phones do suck, for other projects they're the perfect thing. Art doesn't need limitations, but sometimes people need to self-regulate and execute a project based on the resources you have and do the best story that you can instead of complaining and focusing on what isn't there.

It's great to see you taking a critical approach to the Genius Method of design. There are a lot of considerations (not the least of which is corporate culture) when selecting the method that makes most sense. Ideally clients will have the opportunity to work with service providers who are able to modify their approach to best fit the client's business needs (we work hard to achieve that balance at IdentityMine, and our work has been better for it).

We believe in the merits of both Genius and UCD - when applied correctly they can both have high quality results. We don't ever assume that we're smarter than the User.
